WHAT IS ONLINE THERAPY?

Online therapy, also known as "teletherapy"are sessions conducted via a confidential video conference. Imagine engaging in therapy from the comfort of your own home.

Currently, most insurances are covering online therapy at the same cost or less than in-person therapy. Your normal copay may even be waived. I am happy to confirm that coverage for you.

 

Benefits of online therapy include a stigma-free experience, no stuffy waiting rooms or asking for time off for sessions. No commute, so there's no need to disrupt your lifestyle or brave the elements in order to access therapy. 

Research has shown online therapy to be just as effective as in-person therapy. Only licensed therapists are permitted to conduct online therapy, so you can trust you will be seeing a professional with sufficient experience.
